Frequently Asked Questions:

How does it work?
Videographer Michael Kurtz offers a unique state of the art process with eleven megapixel digital files that are processed into high definition Quick Time movies.

What makes this process unique?
Traditional time lapse is one camera angle showing an event from start to finish. A better way is to tell a story with a sequence of time lapse shots. That’s why Mike’s approach utilizes multiple cameras that cover several angles that tell a real “story” like any good movie or video should.

What can I shoot?
Time lapse story telling for a client can include: the clients work process, office area, building exterior, manufacturing plant or product assembly process.

What is required?
If the shoot needs to take place on public property liability insurance and a permit from the local film commission is needed. If the shoot takes place on private property nothing is needed. A property photo release is always recommended.

What do I get?
A single day of shooting can produce a dozen plus shots that run 12 seconds each.

What does it cost?
Package prices start at $1000 a day. The price of custom digital time-lapse can be less expensive than stock photography.
